PROJEKT: Human Machine Interaction - Ergonomics and Life Science
In general, the goal of the project is to display the impact of automation and technology development in the field of life sciences on the health and working conditions of employees.

The aim of the work in special is a method development for an effective stress monitoring for use in occupational medicine. In the center of interest are population related as well as individual relevant sets of methods for analyzing psycho-mental load in both manual and highly automated biotechnological work processes.
From the theoretical standpoint, an occupational field measurement of objective stress selective physiological parameters is essential. In addition to this, the subjective impression of the investigated persons has to be monitored. The third aspect to be realized is a measurement of a task related performance. The whole spectrum of methods has been initially evaluated as a set of methods for a “baseline investigation” in a work physiology laboratory. The aim is, to develop reference values for an interpretation of different stress parameters in relation to field investigations under real working conditions in highly automated biotechnological laboratories by this procedure.
